In pursuance of section 5(1) of Mizoram Public Records Act, 2011 and in the interest of public service, all Records Creating Agencies. i.e, all Departments are hereby informed to nominate Records Officer to discharge the function in the Act. Under Rule 3 of The Mizoram Public Records Rules 2014, the Records Officer so nominated shall not be below the rank or grade of a Superintendent. Nomination order of Record Officer shall be forwarded to the Archivist, Mizoram State Archives, Art & Culture Department.
